Am Ein Ysgol/About Our School

Welcome to our School

Our enthusiastic staff team work hard to provide a caring, fun and stimulating environment in which children thrive and enjoy learning. A positive ethos of praise, high expectations and involvement in their learning encourages each individual child develop the belief that they can achieve their personal best. Hence our school motto ‘Nurture, Believe, Achieve’

The children at our school are enthusiastic learners and we do our very best to make their activities engaging, exciting and successful. Our children are supported by an extremely well-staffed team of excellent teachers and assistants and have access to a wide range of resources, including the latest technology. We have designed a rich curriculum, which is full of opportunities to explore, question and acquire a love of learning which we hope will remain with our children throughout their lives.

A close and supportive relationship between families and school is important to us and we welcome you into school to talk about your child. We have lots of opportunities for families to be involved in children’s learning and in the life of the school. We have regular topic afternoons and variety of assemblies and concerts for you to attend. If you would like to come and join us by helping out with our Parents Teachers Association (PTA) in their many fundraising events we would be delighted to see you.

We believe that education is a partnership between parents and children and ensuring children have a happy and secure first experience of school is very important to us. This is because we firmly believe that working together in partnership brings about the greatest success for children.

We welcome the opportunity to show people around our school and to tell them about all that is going on. If you would like to visit us please phone, e-mail or pop in to make an appointment.

I look forward to working with you to ensure your child gets the best possible start to their school life.
